Run Lola Run (1998) starts off with two quotes that tells the story to come. As the film starts to focus in on the main character, she begins her role as the “damsel in distress”. She lets the chaotic energy inside of her run through as she makes a plan on how to help her boyfriend (Manni) who seems to be in deep trouble.
The movie takes you on the 23 minute journey it will take Lola to see if she can get to Manni in time.
