Now, four years later, and at 19 and 22 respectively, we’ve been driving around listening to “Hit Me Hard and Soft” in the same silent agreement that Billie Eilish has grown more confident in the last four years, right along with the two of us.
Part of this cohesion that Howlin’ Bill and the Basement Dwellers, a band based out of Jersey City, share might stem from the fact that the five members have been at it with each other—in some shape or form—for over a decade.
“[The Rolling Stones] are icons and always will be. They turned on generations of family,” Nocera said.
All these habits seem to represent the unconscious shift from who I was before college and who I am now, four years later, returning to New Jersey.
