From ferries, to community surveys and more, there’s been a lot of movement on different things this past week in Hudson County.
“We are a nation of immigrants and diversity is one of the strengths of this country,” said Jerome Choice, a long-time Jersey City resident and local Hudson County historian.
“… I don’t have no desire to be some big star, but I just hope however many people hear it can appreciate everything that I do and everything I put out.”
“Looking outward, foreigners are getting into Chinese traditional culture through figures like Wukong and Ne Zha,” they said about the movie premiering in Hudson County.
“This [Jersey City] neighborhood deserves more and this place is proving that it can be more,” Leon said. “People from this neighborhood can prosper.”
“It’s truly an honor to be selected as a semifinalist [from Jersey City]. I feel it’s really important to give back to a community that essentially created me who I am today.”

Aside from Mayor Fulop’s address, not many cameras or videos were rolling, instead, a group of residents held up different signs: “Enforce Chapter 260” and “Enforce Rent Control,” which has been going on for years.
