UPDATE: Ja’nisa has been found and is home safe.
A missing 16-year-old girl has been circulating around social media, and locals are asking for help.
On Tuesday, Black Men United, a local community organization, posted a photo of Ja’nisa, a teenager who they’ve said is missing. “Protect our girls,” they wrote.
The girl is 5’5″ and was last seen in a white tank top, blue jean shorts and rainbow vans, the post says.
Her weight is unclear.
The post added that Ja’nisa — whose last name is not posted — went missing in the Jersey City and Bayonne area. It is unclear how long she’s been missing.
The organization urges anyone who sees her to call (551)-263-9846.
