With just over 2,000 students, Dickinson stands at No. 1 for the most populated high school in Jersey City. Despite the large student body population, the school struggles to provide sufficient material for classroom learning, making it difficult for some students to keep up with schoolwork.
“Opening up [KAM Dance Academy] meant a lot just because of my background. I’m Latina and, for me, bringing arts to different communities is really important,” Madan said.
People and places around New Jersey have been working this past week to pass a bill to promote safety, encourage college students to apply for free financial aid and even help residents clean up their Christmas decorations.
